Will the pelvic floor muscles relax with a planter birth?

In the case of an emergency cesarean section, if the cesarean section is needed because of intrauterine distress during labor, there is already pressure on the pelvic floor at the time of delivery, which may lead to corresponding pelvic floor muscle relaxation. If the cesarean section is performed without labor being imminent, then the pelvic floor muscles will not be compressed accordingly and will not become loose. However, as women age, especially after perimenopause or menopause, the aging of the organs may cause the pelvic floor muscles to relax, resulting in bulging of the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina, or prolapse of the uterus. Therefore, whether it is a cesarean section or vaginal delivery, it is recommended that women exercise their pelvic floor muscles after delivery, such as doing anal lifting exercises.
