The Spleen Enhancement Pills are brownish colored concentrated pills, while the Spleen Enhancement Granules are yellowish colored granules. The two medicines have the same herbal ingredients, consisting of codonopsis, fried hedgehog, fried hawthorn, fried atractylodes, tangerine peel and fried malt.
Spleen Pills and Spleen Granules have the same function, both have the effect of strengthening the spleen and opening the stomach, and can be used to treat weakness of the spleen and stomach, loose food and stools (thin and unformed feces), and distension of the epigastrium (abdomen). The adverse reactions and contraindications of both are not yet clear.
