Kidney stones are a common and frequent disease in urology. The common clinical symptoms of stones are pain, hematuria and can cause urinary obstruction. For stones, they can generally be screened by urological ultrasound. Urologic ultrasound is safe, effective, and convenient, and can detect urinary stones as well as make a preliminary determination of the size of the stones. If kidney stones are found, further urological CT examinations are usually needed to help better determine the location and size of the stones and to make a more accurate judgment of the location of the stones, which can help in the selection of the next surgical plan. Therefore, for kidney stones, urological ultrasound and 3D CT of the kidney can usually be done. If the stone causes obstruction, intravenous urography can be done to determine the function of the kidney.
