Causes of bilateral necrosis of the femoral head

Bilateral necrosis of the femoral head is a disease in which the blood circulation supplying both femoral heads is abnormal, resulting in ischemia of the femoral head, necrosis and collapse of bone tissues, affecting the function of the femoral head. The main causes of bilateral femoral head necrosis include: 1) patients have a history of heavy drinking; 2) patients have a history of taking hormones for a long period of time, due to kidney disease or skin disease, patients need to take hormones for a long period of time, which can lead to necrosis of the femoral head; 3) idiopathic necrosis of the femoral head is common in middle-aged and old people, the patients do not have a history of hormone use and alcohol consumption, but they still develop bilateral necrosis of the femoral head, which is a relatively common factor. This kind of necrosis is also a more common factor.
