Small cyst in the left kidney

Left renal microcyst is a common clinical kidney disease, mainly referring to simple, benign cysts. It may be caused by blockage of the left renal tubule due to various reasons, or local urine retention, etc. If patients appear to have this disease, they should choose a regular medical institution for treatment. In the case of small left kidney cyst, ultrasound examination is usually required first. If the examination shows that the cyst is less than 5 cm, it usually does not affect the body and only requires patients to have regular follow-up and periodic review. Generally, the examination is performed once every 3-6 months to determine the growth status of the cyst, such as the size and number of cysts, etc. If there is no change for two consecutive years, the examination time can be extended appropriately; however, if the ultrasound shows that the cysts have increased in size and have a tendency to keep increasing, along with the symptoms of left back discomfort, active treatment is needed. The common clinical treatment method is surgery, usually through minimally invasive surgical methods, such as renal cyst puncture and sclerosis to aspirate the cystic fluid, which is a relatively simple and less invasive surgical method, but there will be a certain recurrence rate. In addition, traditional open surgery or laparoscopic renal cyst windowing can be performed. In daily life, patients with small cysts in the left kidney should get enough rest and avoid staying up late, and at the same time eat a balanced diet with more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as oranges and celery, to promote recovery.
