How to treat damp heat

  If dampness is heavy, use San Ren Tang, Liuyi San or Ping Gastric San. If the heat is heavy, you can use Yin Chen Artemisia Tang, Lian Pu Drink, and Ge Gen Scutellaria Tang.  The medicine used for damp-heat is different for different parts of the body. If there is pain in the bones, redness and swelling of the joints, and yellowing of the face, it may be damp-heat paralysis, and Bai Hu Jia Zhu Tang should be taken; if there is frequent urination, yellow and short urination, it may be damp-heat in the bladder, and Bazheng San should be taken; if there is diarrhea and abdominal pain, urgency and heaviness, and pus and blood in the diarrhea, it may be damp-heat in the large intestine, and Bai Tou Weng Tang should be taken; if there is bitterness in the mouth, poor appetite, swelling and pain in the liver area, body and eyes If there is bitterness in the mouth, poor appetite, swelling and pain in the liver area, yellowing of the body and eyes, or alternating fever and fear of cold, it may be caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, and gentian diarrhea of the liver soup should be taken.  In addition, conditioning is also very important. Be sure to pay attention to not staying up late and ensure the quality of sleep; exercise more often, such as doing yoga, qigong, tai chi, running, walking and other stretching exercises; less activity and work in a hot and humid environment; try to wear loose clothing, and damp-heat treatment should go to the Chinese medicine department under the guidance of experts.
