High glutathione aminotransferase is considered for the following reasons. First, the patient’s liver function is impaired. For example, hepatic stiffness,, viral hepatitis, usually causes elevated glutathione transaminase. Second, drug-related liver function damage. For example, the application of lipid-lowering drugs, simvastatin, atorvastatin, triggering the possibility of elevated glutamic oxalacetic transaminase is relatively high. Third, eating and drinking alcohol-related can cause alcoholic hepatitis, which triggers high glutamic oxalacetic transaminase. Fourth, the patient may have cardiac insufficiency, causing liver stasis, which triggers elevated transaminases.
