What is glutamic oxalacetic transaminase?

Glutathione is an intracellular enzyme in human body, which is mainly distributed in heart muscle, liver, skeletal muscle and kidney. Under normal circumstances its concentration in the blood is very low, usually 0-40 U/L. When the above cells are damaged or necrotic for various reasons, its concentration can rise significantly within a short period of time, providing clinicians with a diagnosis for detecting and diagnosing diseases. Elevated ghrelin is mainly seen in acute viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, myocardial infarction, crush syndrome, nephritis, pneumonia, etc. Based on the patient’s clinical manifestations, ancillary examinations combined with other laboratory tests, a diagnosis can usually be made. After treatment for the cause, if the treatment is effective, glutathione transaminase will decrease and gradually drop to normal, indicating that the treatment is effective.
