A mechanistic study of cardiac remodeling in rats with renal cardioplegia

  Objective:To investigate the mechanism of improving cardiac remodeling in rats with chronic renal failure (CRF) by Renxin Ning Formula. METHODS: Through the intervention of Renxin Ning Fang and its formula of benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin, warming Yang and invigorating Blood on Platt method model rats, and using Monno as the control, we observed the blood BUN, Scr, Hb, RBC, blood lipids, blood PTH, plasma and myocardial angiotensin II (Ang II) and transforming growth factor β1 (TGFβ1) in rats after treatment. RESULTS: Renxin Ning Fang could reduce blood BUN and Scr, improve anemia, lower TC and LDL-C, raise HDL-C, lower PTH, lower Ang II concentration in blood and myocardial tissue, and lower positive expression of myocardial TGFβ1 in CRF model rats to some extent. In the formula, the effect of warming Yang and activating Blood is better than that of benefiting Qi and nourishing Yin. Conclusion:Kidney Heart Ning formula has the effect of inhibiting and delaying cardiac remodeling, and its mechanism is related to the reduction of uremic toxin and improvement of RASS function, and the study of the dismantling mechanism corroborates that the etiology of CRF is based on Yang deficiency and blood stasis.
