Neonatal Arthritis scale

The newborn’s Arthritis score includes the following five aspects: 1. skin color, the color of the child’s skin is bruised or pale is 0 points, if the trunk is red, the limbs are purple is 1 point, the whole body is more red is 2 points. 2. heart rate, no heart rate is 0 points, heart rate less than 100 times per minute is 1 point, more than 100 times per minute is 2 points. 3. the child’s reaction to the playing of the soles or the insertion of the nasal cannula, no reaction is 0 points, frowning movements is 1 point, fussing and sneezing is 2 points. 4. muscle tone, muscle tone is 0 points, slight flexion of the limbs is 1 point, fussing and sneezing is 2 points. The score is 0 for no response, 1 for frowning, 2 for fussing and sneezing, 4 for muscle tone, 0 for relaxed muscle tone, 1 for slightly flexed limbs, 2 for normal limb movement, 5 for respiratory status, 0 for no breathing, 1 for slow and irregular breathing, 2 for normal breathing and loud crying. A normal child’s score is about 8-10 points for all 5 items combined.
