What is the cure rate for stage 1b2 cervical cancer?

The five-year survival rate of patients with stage 1b2 cervical cancer is around 80% to 90% after active treatment. Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor in women, mostly caused by human papillomavirus infection, heredity and other factors. Stage IB2 of the disease is one of the clinical stages, representing that the primary tumor is confined to the uterine cervix, with a diameter of 2~4cm; there is no lymph node and distant metastasis. This period is the early stage of the disease. As the lesion is relatively limited, radical surgical resection is often feasible, and after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are supplemented according to the condition. After active treatment, patients can obtain a high clinical cure rate, with a five-year survival rate of about 80% to 90% and a good prognosis. After the operation, attention should be paid to regular review in order to reduce the recurrence rate.
