Is the fetus sleeping during pregnancy insomnia?

Pregnancy insomnia refers to the inability of mothers-to-be to sleep peacefully during pregnancy and the symptoms of insomnia. In serious cases, it will not only affect the daily life of pregnant women, but also have a negative impact on the growth of the fetus, that is, when pregnant women have insomnia, the fetus may also have insomnia. According to human physiological characteristics, the daily sleep time varies from 7-9 hours, and pregnant women need longer time. Through the daily sleep time to make our brain and body get sufficient rest, if the sleep time is not enough, it will lead to brain cell ischemia and hypoxia, endocrine disorders of the body, and can not maintain normal physiological functions. In pregnant women with long-term insomnia, endocrine disorders lead to abnormal secretion of neurotransmitters and hormones, which, if entering the fetus, can lead to abnormal levels of fetal hormones and neurotransmitters, and the brain is in an abnormally excited state, making it difficult to fall asleep. Humans have their own biological clock, or sleep rhythm, and so does the fetus in the womb of a pregnant woman, which also has its own regular work and rest time, especially in the middle and second trimester. The fetus’ routine will be influenced by the pregnant woman’s activities, and if she has insomnia for a long time, it will cause the fetus to stay awake at night. In summary, if insomnia occurs during pregnancy, it will not affect the life of the fetus in the short term, but if insomnia occurs for a long time, it will seriously affect the sleep and growth and development of the fetus, and needs to be adjusted in time.
