The preventive effect of applying hepatitis B vaccine has been confirmed, but it seems to have no effect on the treatment of hepatitis B. In recent years, it has been found that if it is applied simultaneously with immunomodulators, it can break the immune tolerance or low state of the patient’s organism and have an enhanced effect of inhibiting HBV replication. For example, the combination of Poria polysaccharide and hepatitis B vaccine for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B has been reported to have an efficiency of more than 70%. In addition, it has also been reported that combining hepatitis B vaccine or simultaneous injection of thymidine, or with levamisole coating agent or anti-hepatitis B immune ribonucleic acid can improve the efficacy, but its immunomodulatory effect is too weak and much lower than that of therapeutic hepatitis B vaccine. Usage: (1) For therapeutic purpose: 10-20 micrograms of genetic recombinant hepatitis B vaccine, injected into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm, once every 15 days for 3 months. (2) For preventive vaccination: 10 micrograms of recombinant hepatitis B vaccine, injected into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm, generally using the 0, 1, 6 regimen, i.e., one refill each in the first and sixth months after the first injection, for a total of three times. In conclusion, until a therapeutic hepatitis B vaccine is available, hepatitis B patients can use it according to their treatment needs and under the guidance of their physicians.
