Conversion of creatinine mg/dl to mmol/l

Creatinine mg/dl and mmol/L are two different units of creatinine, the conversion between them is equivalent to 1 mg/dL = 88.4 mmol/L. Each hospital may choose different units, some choose mg/dL while others choose mmol/L. In clinical classification of chronic renal failure is commonly used mmol/L, for example, the uremic stage is equivalent to creatinine > 707 mmol/L. 707mmol/L, but whether it is mg/dL or mmol/L does not affect the assessment of kidney function. Generally elevated creatinine is often seen in patients with renal insufficiency, and elevated blood creatinine occurs when endogenous creatinine clearance falls below 50 ml/min.
