The incubation period of AIDS ranges from a few months to more than a decade, so it is not possible to generalize about what the reaction will be three years after infection. Currently, AIDS can be categorized into acute stage, asymptomatic stage and AIDS stage with different clinical symptoms.
1. Acute phase: generally occurs 2 to 4 weeks after the virus infection, the patient may appear headache, excessive sweating, skin rash, nausea, diarrhea, myalgia, lymph node enlargement and other symptoms, and such symptoms usually in 1 to 3 weeks will gradually disappear.
2. Asymptomatic period: after the acute phase, the asymptomatic period can be entered, and patients usually have no conscious symptoms; there are also some patients who have no obvious acute symptoms, and can enter the asymptomatic period directly. Generally, this period can last 6~8 years.
3. AIDS stage: In the final stage after infection, i.e. the AIDS stage, patients may have fever, excessive sweating, diarrhea and other symptoms that last for more than a month. With the decline of immunity, patients may also develop various opportunistic infections and tumor diseases, which seriously threaten their lives and health.
After the diagnosis of AIDS, no matter at which stage, patients should cooperate with the treatment in time in order to inhibit the development of the disease and improve the quality of life.
