Case Study: My colleague Xiaohua has been married for 2 years, and she and her husband have been actively preparing for pregnancy, quitting smoking and drinking, eating healthy, sleeping early and waking up early, searching for ovulation cycles and “making babies” regularly, but after 2 years, nothing has happened for a long time! There are many cases like this. Nowadays, the number of couples suffering from infertility is increasing year by year. What is infertility? In simple terms, a couple of childbearing age who have been living together for more than a year, having normal sexual intercourse and never using any contraceptive measures, but failing to conceive, is called infertility. In medical science, such infertility is divided into two types: primary infertility and secondary infertility. Conception is a complex physiological process that requires the following five conditions: first: the wife’s ovaries can discharge normal eggs; second: the husband’s semen is normal and contains normal sperm; third: the egg and sperm can meet in the fallopian tube and unite to become a fertilized egg; fourth: the fertilized egg can be transported smoothly into the uterus; fifth: the wife’s uterine lining is sufficiently prepared for fertilization of the fertilized egg. If any one of these five conditions is wrong, the wife cannot get pregnant. Therefore, four of the causes of impediments to conception belong to the wife’s side and one to the husband’s side. The reasons for female infertility are 1. cervical infertility The cervix is one of the important tissues and organs of the female reproductive system, and the cervix is involved in the prevention, treatment and health care of gynecological, obstetric, family planning, women’s health and reproductive health diseases throughout a woman’s life. 2. Ovarian infertility The ovaries are located in the same position as the testes, only the left side is developed (the right side has degenerated) and is grape-shaped, all are follicles in different stages of development, the follicles are yellow and the ovarian surface is densely covered with blood vessels. The size of the ovaries is related to age and ovulation period. 3.Immune infertility Immune infertility refers to patients with normal ovulation and reproductive tract function, no pathogenic factors are found, and the routine semen examination of the spouse is in the normal range, which is caused by autoimmunity or alloimmunity of reproductive system antigens. 4.Endocrine disorder infertility The human body has an endocrine system, which secretes various hormones and regulates the metabolism and physiological functions of the human body together with the nervous system. Endocrine disorders may occur in both men and women. 5. Systemic diseases and infertility Systemic diseases can also cause infertility, and obesity is one of them. The most common factors of systemic diseases leading to female infertility are endocrine disorders and metabolic diseases. Tubal infertility The fallopian tubes are tube-shaped, one on each side, with two openings on each side. The inner opening is in the uterine cavity at the corner of the uterus, called the fallopian tube and the uterine mouth, and the outer opening is in the abdominal cavity, called the fallopian tube and the abdominal mouth. Certain organic or functional diseases of the vulva and vagina affect the entry and storage of semen or sperm in the vagina, or affect the function of normal sperm due to changes in their environment, resulting in infertility. Sexually transmitted disease infertility Sexual transmission is a mode of transmission that can be direct or indirect, and there is also a mode of transmission from parent to fetus or newborn, which will be seen later in the narrative. 9. Infertility caused by sexual intercourse Sexual intercourse is the act of mating between male and female heterosexual animals of different species, which is distinguished from other non-intercourse behaviors by the fact that sexual intercourse requires the participation of the reproductive organs to stimulate excitement, and the purpose of sexual intercourse is reproductive reproduction from a biological point of view. Endometriosis infertility The endometrium, also known as the mucous membrane of the uterus, is a layer that forms the inner wall of the mammalian uterus. The endometrium reacts to both motilin and progesterone, so it can change significantly with the sexual cycle (estrus cycle, menstrual cycle). Secondly, the husband’s sperm is not qualified, such as sperm malformation, less sperm and weak sperm, etc. If this situation is encountered, it is slightly more complicated, and the husband needs some treatment to restore the health and vitality of sperm, etc. If the treatment is not effective for a little time, human intervention can also be implemented, that is, the healthy and vital sperm in the semen is selected by artificial means, and then artificially implanted in the woman’s fallopian tube to achieve The purpose of conception. If these methods do not work, assisted reproduction techniques such as IVF may be required. The most important thing is to find out if the work is too stressful and burdensome, so perhaps a vacation and a change of environment will help you conceive a baby.
