Iodine oil deposition refers to the interventional phenomenon produced after liver transplantation. Iodine oil deposition after liver cancer intervention usually disappears in 1~2 years for tumors with richer blood supply; for tumors with lack of blood supply, iodine oil usually disappears in 1~2 months. If liver cancer patient’s tumor has richer blood supply, the iodine oil deposition will disappear in about 1~2 years after interventional therapy. It means that the tumor is now gradually increasing, the condition is more serious, and the prognosis is relatively poor after undergoing interventional therapy. If the blood supply of liver cancer tumor is relatively poor, iodine oil deposition will disappear in about 1~2 months after interventional therapy. This situation indicates that the treatment effect is more prominent, the prognosis is better and the growth rate of tumor cells has been controlled. If iodine oil deposition occurs after interventional therapy for liver cancer patients, it is recommended to have regular review to understand the changes of the condition through tumor marker screening and liver function test, and then carry out post-treatment according to the diagnostic results.
