In Chinese medicine theory, blood is related to the spleen, stomach, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and other organs, and the production and operation of blood is the result of the joint action of multiple organs. The operation of blood is related to the heart, lungs, liver and spleen. Heart qi promotes the operation of blood in the veins; lung qi assists the heart in supervising the blood in the whole body; the liver has the function of storing and regulating the volume of blood, maintaining the balance of blood circulation and flow, and also preventing blood from spilling out; and strong spleen qi ensures that blood operates in the veins and prevents blood from spilling out.
