What causes men to urinate frequently

Men’s frequent urination may be caused by physiological reasons, or due to prostate hyperplasia, bladder stones and other pathological reasons. 1. Physiological reasons: men drink too much water, drink too much beer or eat a lot of watermelon, can make the kidneys produce more urine, thus causing frequent urination. This is a normal physiological phenomenon generally do not need special treatment. 2. Pathologic causes: (1) Prostatic hyperplasia: mainly related to ageing and androgen levels, occurring in older men with testicular function. Proliferating prostate tissue compresses the urethra causing urinary tract obstruction, which leads to frequent urination. (2) Bladder stones: mainly caused by drinking too little water or abnormal body metabolism. Bladder stones reduce the capacity of the bladder, the bladder stores little urine, the body produces urine will cause frequent urination, burning sensation of urination and other conditions.
