Pregnant women need to prevent anal fissures after childbirth

Anal fissures are a very common condition, and are especially common in women after childbirth. The reason why anal fissures easily occur in women after childbirth is not only due to vaginal dilatation and tearing of the anus during delivery, but also due to constipation. Survey data shows that 76.4% of postpartum constipation, and 70.6% of anal fissures have constipation. The reason for maternal constipation, on the one hand, is long-term bed rest after childbirth, little activity, intestinal peristalsis slowed, while the abdominal wall expansion during pregnancy, postpartum abdominal wall relaxation and weakness, abdominal pressure is reduced. This will make the intestinal contents easy to stagnate in the intestinal cavity, difficult to discharge. On the other hand, the main thing is that the postpartum diet is not appropriate, too much fine food, do not eat or rarely eat vegetables, fruits and other fiber-rich food, some people also drink less water. This will inevitably lead to constipation and induce anal fissures. The main symptom of anal fissure is pain after the stool, and in severe cases, the pain lasts for several hours after the stool, thus making the patient afraid of stool, resulting in the stool staying in the intestinal cavity longer and drier, making the next defecation more painful, forming a vicious circle and unbearable suffering. Therefore, it is important for women to pay attention to anal fissures after giving birth. The first thing to do is to take part in as many activities as possible during pregnancy (unless there is a contraindication to the activity) and generally do not rest in bed all day. In addition to eating chicken, meat, fish, eggs and other foods, you should also eat some vegetables, fruits and coarse grains, beans and their products, sweet potatoes and other foods. To drink more water, more soup, keep the body moisture. Of course, spicy and hot food should not be eaten. If you have constipation, you can take some light laxatives such as guide tablets 1 to 2 tablets per night, or use a little diarrhea leaves to make water as tea, you can also use open plug anal laxative. If anal fissures have occurred, you should seek medical treatment in a timely manner.
