What are the common types of kidney cancer pathology?

In 2004, WHO classified the pathological types of kidney cancer into 10 subtypes: renal clear cell carcinoma, renal papillary adenocarcinoma, renal suspicious cell carcinoma, collecting duct carcinoma and medullary carcinoma, multiparty cystic renal cell carcinoma, Xp11 translocation renal carcinoma, carcinoma associated with neuroblastoma, mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma and unclassified renal cell carcinoma, of which the most common type is clear cell carcinoma, accounting for about 60%-85 The third common pathological type is suspicious cell carcinoma, which accounts for 4%-10%; the others are rare types, among which the prognosis of collecting ductal carcinoma and medullary carcinoma is poor. There are differences in malignancy of the same type of kidney cancer cells, and the malignancy of kidney cancer cells is graded according to the differences in size and morphology of cancer cells. The low grade or high differentiation suggests low malignancy of cancer cells, while high grade or low differentiation suggests high malignancy of cancer cells.
