How to diagnose and treat cataracts

There are many causes of cataracts, the most common being senile cataracts, which are particularly common in people over 60 years of age. Cataracts can also be caused by other factors: cataracts that exist after birth or occur at an early age are called congenital cataracts; trauma to the eye that causes clouding of the lens is called traumatic cataracts; diabetes, intraocular inflammation and intraocular hemorrhage can also lead to cataracts. Cataract is a common disease in ophthalmology and a major cause of blindness.

The most important symptom of cataract is blurred vision, especially in dark or bright places, and also double vision, visual field defects, darkening or discoloration of vision.

Surgical procedure: If cataract affects visual function, minimally invasive ultrasonic emulsion IOL implantation is the best solution available. Countless cataract patients have good vision through this safe and effective surgical method.

Cataract surgery consists of two main procedures: First, the cloudy lens is aspirated through ultrasound emulsification.

Second, depending on the patient’s needs, the appropriate IOL is implanted (including hard lens IOLs, small incision foldable spherical IOLs or aspheric IOLs, and special IOLs for some highly demanding patients).

Minimally invasive cataract ultrasound emulsification combined with folding IOL implantation is a combination of the most advanced surgical equipment and surgical techniques.

The main features are as follows: 1. Minimally invasive surgery, the incision is usually less than 3mm, and the incision is self-closing after surgery, usually without sutures; 2.
