Exercise therapy for cerebral palsy

For the disease of cerebral palsy, it will not only increase the difficulty of treating the patient’s disease, but also increase the difficulty of treating the patient’s family, but as our knowledge of cerebral palsy disease increases, the patient will also have different pains that we need to understand in time, this is because only after understanding can we do a better job of movement therapy. It mainly trains gross motor, especially the function of lower limbs, uses mechanical and physical means to improve residual motor function, inhibits abnormal postural reflexes and induces normal motor development. Commonly used: 1. Bobath method (also known as neurodevelopmental treatment method): to stop abnormal postural reflex activity, promote normal postural reflex generation, and develop normal motor ability and automatic response ability. 2.Vojta method: By stimulating certain parts of the body of the child with cerebral palsy, the child can produce two kinds of reflex-motor patterns: rolling over and crawling, and eventually these reflex-motors become active movements, and these crawling movements are regarded as the precursor of all coordinated movements of the human body. 3. Peto method: The guidance method of group training, which puts children with similar physiological conditions together, including gross motor training, sensory motor, self-help skill training and special education. Although the above exercise therapy for cerebral palsy is given from a certain point of view, in some cases there may be one or more deficiencies for cerebral palsy patients, which can cause certain harm to the patient’s family and need to be understood in time.
