Recommended diet for lung involvement

  Lung involvement is seen in 85% of patients with mixed connective tissue disease. Only 27% of them present with clinical symptoms, mainly shortness of breath, chest pain and dry cough. Some patients with small-vessel pulmonary vasculitis have clinical imaging features consistent with an interstitial course resembling idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
