Hip resetting method

The methods of hip joint repositioning include the following: first, posterior hip dislocation, the patient lies on his back, the assistant fixes the pelvis, the operator holds the affected popliteal fossa with his elbow, upward traction, the other hand holds the calf and presses downward, while traction makes the affected limb inward, flexion, external rotation, abduction and straightening, the repositioning sound can be heard; second, anterior hip dislocation, the patient lies on his back, the assistant fixes the pelvis, the operator extends the affected limb in traction and External rotation, flexion, adduction and internal rotation, when flexion the other hand can be seen pushing the femoral head toward the acetabulum, the above deformity disappears immediately after reset, abduction and over-extension should be avoided; third, central dislocation of hip joint, use the lateral side of the greater trochanter and longitudinal bone traction on the femoral condyle at the same time, abduct the affected limb and large weight bone traction, strive to achieve satisfactory reset within 3 days, and continuously maintain traction for 10-12 weeks.
