Can CT confirm the diagnosis of lung cancer?

Patient: Can a diagnosis of “advanced lung cancer” be confirmed if there are no symptoms? Physician: CT and other imaging means can only make clinical diagnosis, but not final diagnosis of lung cancer, and clear pathological diagnosis is required. For patients with enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, the pathological diagnosis can be clarified by mediastinoscopy or the most advanced endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) biopsy in our center.
