Spleen and Kidney Pill is composed of 30 Chinese medicines including Radix Codonopsis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Rhizoma Dioscoreae. Among them, Astragalus and Atractylodes Macrocephalae strengthen the spleen and vital energy; Fructus Lycii, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparatae, Cornus Officinalis nourish kidney yin; Cortex Eucommiae, Cistanchiae Herba, and Cortex Bonesetum warm the kidneys and dissipate the cold; and Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae and Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong dissipate blood stasis and relieve pain. Spleen and Kidney Pill is effective in strengthening the spleen and qi, nourishing the liver and kidney. It is used in treating weakness of the spleen and kidneys, such as tiredness of limbs, weakness of qi, lack of appetite, stomach and epigastric congestion, lumbago and lumbago, weakness of legs and knees, dizziness and tinnitus.
