Chemotherapy 6 times and 8 times may be different courses of treatment, mainly because of the different pathological stages of the tumor and the different nature of the tumor, different treatment plans are adopted. For example, some lymphomas may require longer chemotherapy because it is possible to achieve radical effect through chemotherapy, and 8-12 times of chemotherapy are available. There are some post-operative adjuvant therapies, usually 6 times is enough. So at least how many times of chemotherapy depends on the patient’s physical condition. If chemotherapy is not tolerated after several times, there is no way to continue chemotherapy, which is a more common systemic treatment for anti-tumor therapy. The most common side effects may be nausea and vomiting, as well as decreased white blood cells and anemia. This condition also requires symptomatic treatment and suspension of chemotherapy if the side effects are too great.
