PE regimen is the accepted standard of care for small cell lung cancer, which is a two-drug combination of cisplatin and etoposide chemotherapy regimen. According to statistics, the application of PE regimen can achieve a complete remission rate of 20-45% in limited stage small cell lung cancer and 10-25% in extensive stage. PE is currently the first-line chemotherapy regimen for the treatment of small cell lung cancer.
