Postural tremor is an involuntary tremor that occurs when a limb is maintained in a certain position. The most common disorders of postural tremor are called primary tremor and idiopathic tremor, and idiopathic tremor is manifested as postural or motor tremor, with tremor being the only manifestation. Idiopathic tremor is the only manifestation of tremor. It is usually seen in middle-aged and older adults over 40 years of age, and is often seen in one or both upper extremities, and the head is often involved, but the lower extremities are less frequently involved. The frequency of tremor is usually between 6-12 Hz. The disease should be considered if the patient has frequent postural and motor tremors, if the tremor decreases after drinking alcohol, if there is a similar condition in the family and if it is not accompanied by other manifestations, and if the disease should be differentiated from Parkinson’s and A. Its main treatment drug is propranolol.
