Incubation period of rabies

The incubation period of rabies is generally 1 month to 3 months, with more than 99% having an incubation period of less than 1 year and less than 1% having more than 1 year, and the longest incubation period of 6 years has been reported. That is, if a person is bitten by a rabid dog without timely preventive measures, an extremely small number of people will develop the disease after a year, basically in 1-3 months, 99% within a year, and the reports of the onset of the disease after a dozen or decades are still lacking scientific basis. Rabies phobia: These patients are often people who have knowledge of rabies or have seen a rabies patient have an attack. Such individuals are very frightened of rabies and have symptoms of mental terror due to pain at the site of the bite. However, this patient has no hypothermia, no real spasm of the throat muscles when exposed to water, and no hydrophobia.
