Which insulin shot works best

There is no such thing as which location is the best for insulin injection. Insulin injection mainly chooses the parts with thicker subcutaneous fat, such as abdomen, outer thigh, buttocks and deltoid muscle.
1. Abdomen: Abdomen is one of the commonly used injection sites, the abdominal skin is thinner, the area is large, the operation is more convenient, the patient can carry out the insulin injection by himself, the skin will be taut or pinched up and then enter the needle vertically.
2. Lateral thighs: the inner thighs need to be avoided, and the outer thighs are also more convenient to operate.
3. Buttocks: Patients with thin skin can choose to inject in the buttocks, but it is not convenient to inject here by oneself, and usually need the assistance of others.
4. Upper arm deltoid muscle: generally choose the outer side of the upper arm deltoid muscle, when there are more clothes in winter, the upper arm deltoid muscle injection is not convenient.
The above parts can be rotated for injection to avoid subcutaneous fat hardening and fat atrophy. Insulin injection needs to be carried out under the guidance of endocrinologists or nurses to avoid operation-related damage and adverse drug reactions.
