Is hereditary obesity more difficult to lose than acquired obesity?

Genetics is an important factor in obesity. People who are obese because of genetics may have a stronger ability to absorb and a weaker ability to consume, resulting in more energy being converted into fat and stored in the body. So those who are genetically obese, may find themselves and others put in the same effort, but the weight loss effect is much worse than them. Everyone’s body will have differences, so the situation is different when it comes to weight loss, genetic obesity is more obvious in this regard. However, many people do not realize this, and when they lose weight they tend to imitate those successful examples, especially those with various detailed rules, so they often end up in failure. The genetically obese should not be blinded when choosing a weight loss method. Among the nearly 1,000 patients I have operated on, there are some who are genetically obese, and they have tried the methods used by others on the Internet before choosing weight loss surgery, but in the end they all failed. In order to strengthen their weight loss effect, we will also gradually adjust the program according to their recovery situation, and will not relax much after they have fully recovered. From these aspects, it may seem that it is more difficult for genetically obese people to lose weight, but this is not really the case. Although hereditary obese people are more likely to become fat and more difficult to lose weight than others, as long as they have normal habits, usually pay attention to exercise, eat in moderation, and try to avoid those factors that easily lead to obesity, the chances of becoming fat will be small. And when it comes to weight loss, although the rate will be slower, but as long as the method is correct, adhere to it will also lose weight.
