How long does it take for microscopic lesions of nephrotic syndrome to heal

About 30%-40% of patients can achieve spontaneous remission without drug treatment within a few months after the onset of the disease. For patients receiving drug therapy, most patients can achieve clinical remission after 4-6 weeks of hormone administration alone, as evidenced by negative proteinuria, decreasing edema, and normalization of blood pressure and renal function. However, about 50%-60% of the above patients may experience recurrence of the disease, so for patients with nephrotic syndrome manifesting as microscopic nephropathy, they should avoid conditions that may lead to recurrence, such as infection, irregular use of hormones, and various factors such as exertion.
