The exact location and function of the Qucha point

Located on the head, Qucha point has the efficacy of brightening the eyes and clearing the orifices, dispersing wind and clearing heat, and removing vexation and calming asthma. The Qucha point is 0.5 inches straight up and 1.5 inches to the side of the center of the front hairline of the head. It belongs to the acupoint of the foot solar bladder meridian and is mostly used in the treatment of headache, dizziness, nasal congestion, nosebleed and other conditions. Nowadays, it is mostly used clinically for the treatment of facial nerve paralysis, colds, trigeminal neuralgia, headaches, vision loss, rhinitis, nasal polyps, lung diseases and other conditions of conditioning. The Qucha point is taken at the middle inner 1/3 fold of the curved line connecting the Shenting and the head circumference, and is mostly chosen for flat puncture, but can also be used with the Pension point, the Hegu point for the treatment of visual uncertainty, and with the Baihui point and the Wind Pool point for the treatment of headache and other disorders.
