How to treat necrosis of the femoral head of the hip

The treatments for necrosis of the femoral head of the hip include non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment. 1. Non-surgical treatment (1) Avoid weight-bearing: it is applicable to patients with stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ necrosis of femoral head of hip, they should rest in bed, avoid weight-bearing of the affected limbs, and should hold crutches or sit in wheelchair to reduce the weight-bearing of the hip joint in daily life. (2) Drug therapy: anticoagulant drugs such as low molecular heparin sodium, prostaglandin E, etc., anti-osteoporosis drugs such as diphosphate preparations. (3) Other treatments: including high-frequency electromagnetic wave therapy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy.
