Methotrexate tablets, is a commonly used anti-folate antitumor drug in clinical practice. Clinically, it is mainly indicated for acute leukemia, breast cancer, choriocapillaris epithelial carcinoma, head and neck tumors, malignant staphyloma, bone tumors, lung cancer, reproductive system tumors, liver cancer, intractable common psoriasis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis and other autoimmune diseases. Generally, if methotrexate is followed by the addition of calcium formyl tetrahydrofolate, it can provide tetrahydrofolate coenzyme directly to the cells, thus avoiding the inhibitory effect of methotrexate, which can reduce its cytotoxic effect.
