What is acromegaly

Condyloma acuminatum is a sexually transmitted disease caused by infection with the human papillomavirus. Humans are the sole host of the human papillomavirus and primarily infect humans. The incubation period is usually 2-32 weeks, with an average incubation period of 12 weeks. After infection with the virus, it tends to occur in the external genitalia and around the anus where the skin mucosa is more moist. These areas may start as columnar and then develop cauliflower-like bumps that grow like small cauliflower in the intimate area. In women, warts may develop on the labia majora and minora, the vaginal opening, the clitoris, the inner wall of the vagina, and the cervix. In men, they are mainly found in the perineum and perianal area. In a relatively small number of patients, warts grow in areas other than the anal genitalia, such as the mouth and breasts, and in the mouth mostly due to a history of oral sex.
