Generally speaking, CD4+ T cells between 500 and 1600 per microliter are considered normal in AIDS patients.
CD4+ T cells are a type of immune cell that responds to the body’s immune status. In normal adults, the CD4+ T-cell level is between 500 and 1600 per microliter; therefore, CD4+ T-cells in AIDS patients are normal in this range.
If the CD4+T cell content is lower than 500 per microliter, it means that the immunity is relatively low, which is commonly found in AIDS patients. When the CD4+T cell content is less than 200 per microliter, it enters the AIDS stage.
Infected with AIDS should be actively treated, take medication on time, can reduce clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life.
