Symptoms of novel coronary pneumonia in infants

The main symptom of novel coronavirus infection in infants is a fever of 38°C or higher, accompanied by a dry cough, weakness of the limbs, difficulty in breathing, and diarrhea, but some infants may also have no obvious manifestations of fever. As the disease progresses, after a week the infant may develop complications such as septic shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome, or failure of various body organs. Although the number of cases of novel coronavirus infection in infants is relatively small nowadays, more attention should be paid to the fact that infants are susceptible people with low immunity, so parents should not take their infants to crowded places and minimize the possibility of going out.
