The National Health Insurance Board adopts special reimbursement policies for patients diagnosed with novel coronavirus pneumonia: i. The Health Care Commission temporarily includes drugs and medical services covered by the “Pneumonia Treatment Plan for New Coronavirus Infection” in the scope of payment of the health insurance fund; ii. It ensures timely payment of patients to dispel concerns about medical treatment and implements first treatment and later settlement for those who seek medical treatment from other places, and the reimbursement does not implement the provisions of the reduction of the payment ratio for medical treatment transferred from other places in order to reduce the movement of people to increase the risk of infection; iii. It centralizes the admission and treatment, and the health insurance department prepays funds to reduce the pressure of hospital advances.
