Surgery for adenomyosis can be done minimally invasive or open. Whether to do minimally invasive or open uterine adenomyosis surgery depends on the patient’s clinical symptoms, age and the requirements of the surgery. Minimally invasive surgery can be very good for removing the uterus, and if the patient has no requirement for childbearing, he/she can have the uterus removed, and for the removal of the uterus, minimally invasive surgery has the same effect as after open surgery. If the patient has fertility requirements, partial removal of the fibroid can be done to preserve the uterus so that pregnancy can be normalized. If the tumor is simply removed, minimally invasive surgery can be done to preserve the uterus, and relatively normal pregnancy can be achieved.
