How is the pill-rolling-like movement of the hand checked?

The rubbing of the hands is one of the clinical manifestations of Parkinson’s syndrome. It is a degenerative disease of the substantia nigra and substantia nigra striata pathways that occurs in adults over middle age. 10% of patients have a family history; some patients can have similar manifestations due to encephalitis, cerebral atherosclerosis, and traumatic brain injury. The cause of Parkinson’s disease is not well understood. It is now recognized that the cause of Parkinson’s disease is degenerative changes of nerve cells, with the main lesions in the substantia nigra and striatum. The gradual decrease in the number of nigrostriatal cells and the gradual loss of their function leads to a decrease in a substance called dopamine, which causes the above symptoms. According to the results of animal experiments and epidemiology, Parkinson’s disease is also related to genetics. 1, routine laboratory tests: generally within the normal range, individual may have hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, abnormal electrocardiogram and other changes. 2, blood cerebrospinal fluid examination: dopamine levels can be detected to reduce the concentration of its metabolite hypericin. 5-hydroxytryptamine metabolites and hydroxyindoleacetic acid content is reduced; dopamine beta hydroxylase is reduced; cerebrospinal fluid growth inhibitor significantly reduced and aminobutyric acid levels are reduced. 3, molecular biological examination: biochemical detection using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), can be detected in the cerebrospinal fluid and urinary HVA content reduction. Genetic testing uses DNA blotting technique (southernblot), PCR, DNA sequence analysis, etc. Gene mutations may be found in a few familial PD patients. 4, brain CT, MRI examination: generally no characteristic seen, elderly patients may have varying degrees of brain atrophy, ventricular enlargement, some patients with brain lacunar infarct foci, individual appearing basal ganglia calcification.
