Ovarian plasmacytic cystic carcinoma is treated as follows: 1. Early stage surgery is performed to remove the lesion and further clarify the cancer stage; 2. For patients with fertility requirements and early stage of tumor, surgery can be performed to preserve the fertility function; 4. Plasmacytoid cystic carcinoma is relatively sensitive to chemotherapy, except for very few patients with early stage and low grade plasmacytoid ovarian cancer, all patients with other stages need chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is mainly used as adjuvant chemotherapy after initial surgery to kill residual lesions, control recurrence and relieve symptoms. Pre-operative chemotherapy can shrink lesions and facilitate surgery. Patients who cannot tolerate surgery also need to undergo chemotherapy.
