Proper diet during chemotherapy for breast cancer

Before treatment, doctors and patients and family members should fully communicate, observe the principle of balanced diet and correct malnutrition.  2. Reasonable arrangement of diet and chemotherapy: on the day of chemotherapy, the diet should be light and tasty; when chemotherapy is administered intravenously on an empty stomach, therefore, food should be eaten 3hr before chemotherapy, when the food has been basically digested and emptied, and dinner should be eaten later after chemotherapy to reduce the symptoms of nausea and vomiting. (2) For declining red blood cells or hematocrit, use 60g of glutinous rice, 15g of wolfberry, 15g of longan meat, cook and eat rice. (3) For declining platelets, chew peanut rice (with red skin), 15~20 pieces/d; or use 2~3 raw sheep bones, cracked with 15~20g of red dates, 30g of peanut rice plus 60g of glutinous rice, boil and eat the porridge.  5, weakness: the majority of patients will have weakness symptoms after chemotherapy. Apply 5g of American ginseng sliced into water to drink. Or astragalus 250g, red dates 500g, boiled and eaten. Also use 30g of jujube, 60g of glutinous rice and 30g of yam, boil and eat thin rice, 2 times/d.
