There is usually no milk without pregnancy. If there is milk-like discharge from the nipples, it may be caused by diseases, such as amenorrhea lactation syndrome caused by increased prolactin, which is caused by endocrine disorders, or by pituitary microadenoma and other causes. Therefore, if you are not pregnant and have nipple flow and fluid, you should promptly go to the hospital for ultrasound examination to understand the condition of the bilateral breast and exclude malignant lesions of the breast; perform hormone level examination to understand the condition of lactogen. If prolactin is elevated, a brain MRI or CT brain examination should be performed to find out if there are microadenomas or macroadenomas in the pituitary gland that cause milk-like discharge from the nipples, and effective treatment should be given according to the results of the examination.
