In general, in tertiary and secondary hospitals, children’s intelligence testing can be done in the rehabilitation department, child health department or neurology department. In secondary and tertiary hospitals, these departments are more complete, and the corresponding specialized tests can detect the child’s problems in time. If these departments are not available in primary hospitals, it is recommended to go to neonatology or neurology departments for early detection and treatment of neurological disorders. If there is no rehabilitation department in the primary care hospital, or if there is no department for intelligence testing, it is recommended that the child go to the neurology department or the child health department for relevant testing or evaluation to understand the child’s intelligence development level in a timely manner.
