Urinary tract infection infusion usually takes about 3 to 7 days, with necessary adjustments based on the improvement of the patient’s symptoms. Generally urinary tract infections do not require infusion treatment, but when the temperature rises to the level of hyperthermia, intravenous infusion treatment is recommended to control the infection as soon as possible and prevent the spread of infection leading to infectious shock or urinary sepsis. Patients should choose sensitive antibiotics for targeted treatment based on urine culture results. If the symptoms improve, stop the drug within 3-7 days as appropriate, change to oral preparation, use a course of treatment, do urine routine review. After the review is normal, stop the drug treatment, and also drink more water and urinate more during the treatment. Drinking water can increase drug metabolism and urine volume, can flush the urinary tract, keep clean, also can reduce the symptoms of infection as soon as possible. For patients whose symptoms are still not significantly improved after 3 consecutive days of infusion, urine should be taken again for culture, necessary drug adjustment therapy, or choose other sensitive antibiotics for specialized treatment.
