Is saphenous varicose vein an occupational disease?

  Nowadays, there are many patients with saphenous varicose veins in the lower extremities in general surgery. Many nurses in our hospital wear elastic stockings because they are afraid of saphenous varicose veins in the lower extremities, and many teachers are also afraid because of their occupational needs and long standing hours. Should I have surgery? It is recommended to go to general surgery to get professional advice.  Here are two opinions for you.  1, if you choose to wear elastic stockings, it is recommended to buy better ones with long sleeves and wear them to the upper thighs, because they have to be worn for a long time, poor quality ones will not be elastic after a while and the effect will be greatly reduced.  2, do not delay until the skin ulcers to surgery.
