Newborns always spitting up may be caused by physiological factors, but also by improper feeding, pathological factors such as gastroesophageal reflux and other factors.
1. Physiological factors: newborns have a small stomach capacity, cardia development is not yet perfect, the stomach is horizontal, after breastfeeding is easy to overflow symptoms, and newborns have imperfect swallowing function, easy to spit up.
2. Improper feeding: improper feeding such as too much feeding, too many times of breastfeeding, too fast feeding, incorrect breastfeeding posture, etc., will lead to the newborn’s intake of too much milk or too much air, which will cause the symptoms of spitting up.
3. Pathologic factors: In the case of pneumonia in newborns, atypical manifestations such as spitting up and choking, spitting up and slow feeding can occur. In case of intracranial infection in newborns, due to the stimulation of the central nervous system, there will be jet-like vomiting; in addition, gastroesophageal reflux, congenital pyloric hypertrophy obstruction, intussusception and other factors can also cause spitting up.
It is recommended that newborns spit up all the time and go to the hospital to find out the cause of the problem and get the relevant treatment.
